CITIZEN CALIBRE 8700 DATE SET HOW TO
I'm at a loss on how to fix my first real watch. I thought it was maybe a screech in the band but while it was stationary it continued to make that sound I put that theory to rest. Most recently when I opened my safe when light hit the Citizen it made a scratching metal sound (the one I hear several times an hour when looking at it). Again, I tried charging it for hours and no results, I took the back off with my repair kit and it looks like nothing I'd ever know how to fix. When the crown is in position one (controls the date/time/alarm/calendar) the date/time/alarm/calendar selection is the only thing that moves. When I pull the crown out to position two (controls the time) the minute, second, or hour hands do not move. The issue I'm having with this particular Citizen is its not working is there anyone here that has had a similar experience or can at least diagnose the problem based off of my following poor description?
